English term or phrase: "margin account"
An account you open to buy securities using money borrowed from an investment dealer. Limits apply to why you can borrow. Not available from companies registered solely as mutual fund dealers.

A margin account is a brokerage account that
allows one to borrow against the value of securities one owns (allows one to
borrow money or buy more securities). You would receive a margin call from a
broker if one or more of the securities you had bought (with borrowed money)
decreased in value past a certain point. You would be forced either to
deposit more money in the account or sell off some of your assets.

Explanation:
I can not find a good translation in Swedish, but the largest online-broker in Sweden uses the English term on their web-site:http://www.netfonds.se/obsot.php
The difference between a basic brokers account and a margin account lies in the option to buy shares on margin, borrow money from your broker. Most margin accounts also provides the option to go short on shares, which means to borrow stocks from a broker, sell them and later buy them back (to cover shorts) for a lower price and return them to your broker. Swedish brokers does not seem to support these options, why I suggest that you follow Net Fonds example and keep the English term.
