Dígolo porque hoy se busca que la combinación de balón y stent sea lo más pequeña posible. Para poder introducirlo por las venas hasta la lesión, el balón se enrolla sobre sí mismo (wrapped) y sobre él se coloca el stent (crimped). Es decir que el balón se envuelve y el stent se pliega.
