English translation:The final grade for the bachelor degree exam is calculated from the average attained from the ...
Explanation:
The final grade for the bachelor degree exam is calculated from the average attained from the weighted grades for individual tasks, as awarded in the module, as well as from the grade for the final paper and the "Kolloquium".(whatever that might be).

Something like that...

I would skip over the "dem Umfang der Leistungspunkte" part by saying "weighted grades for individual tasks", as I think it is obvious that if they are weighted, they probably do not all involve the same amount of effort.

agree  writeaway: a bit too long for a proz question imho

agree  Robert Schlarb: but not with "attained" > "obtained"; Kolloquium is an (informal) oral examination

disagree  NGK: Where do you get "individual tasks" and "the module"? G "Module" = plural. Seems to me that there are several modules, each module is worth a certain number of credits, and this number of credits determines how the grade obtained in a module is weighted.

The calculation of total score ...

Explanation:
These extended adjectives, which are the equivalent of relative sentences, are supposed to be so elegant, while in fact they obscur the true meaning.

I would think that this is what they are trying to say:

Die Gesamtnote der Bachelorprüfung errechnet sich aus dem Durchschnitts der Noten der Module und der Note der Abschlussarbeit und des Kolloquiums. Der Durchschnitt dieser Noten wird nach dem Umfang der Leistungspunkte gewichtet.

The calculation of total score for the bachelor exam is based on the average marks received for the modules, as well the mark for the final assignment and the colloquium. This average is weighted according to the overall points received for performance.

... just a suggestion

Good luck !

Explanation:
The overall mark in the bachelor’s exam is made up of the average mark obtained in the course assessments, adjusted for performance/achievement weightings, and the marks obtained in the final (written) exam and the oral.

‘grade’ for ‘mark’ if you prefer

the sentence is definitely ambiguous: ‘Durchschnitt’ might apply only to ‘Note der Module’ or to ‘Note fuer Abschlussarbeit’ as well…I just thought 'Leistungspunkte' might apply to year-round coursework but not really to individual exams
