about the same Explanation: My sense is that luggage is a bit more common in the US, except for some set expressions such as 'baggage tag,' etc. In addition, 'baggage' is sometimes used figuratively to refer to emotions, experiences, complexes, and various encumbrances that may affect human relations in one way or another. It is very context dependent. |
