How would people translate "cuanto menos" in this context? At the very least? or something like that?

neutral  Timothy Barton: If I'm not mistaken, most "Plain English" manuals would tell you to avoid expressions like "very least". The word "very" has no meaning, as the word "least" is already a superlative. I might be wrong though.

  -> you are probably right, but I also think cuanto menos is quite emphatic. There must be a way of signalling that. Otherwise, it'd just be "al menos". Does that make any sense?
