Explanation:
Sources at DBP advised that for "money laundering" the equivalent "penyamaran wang" shall be used in forthcoming publications. This can be found in past TERAJU discussions (unfortunately the archives are not seamless anymore so one's not able to make a quick search of the archives) and I've also included it in my glossaries - not sure if I've updated it in my proz glos.

Based on the references given by Bettina, I submit to the translation in use as suggested - the BM eqv used does give a clear illustration of the act of laundering maoney - I hereby withdraw my answer, even though I feel that penyamaran (disguising) is more apt as under law the money isn\'t \"wang haram\" unless its is proven to be so, The act of laundering is to \'disguise\' the money before it is detected/proven to be \'wang haram\'. alb
