夢物語、昔話、おとぎ話


Explanation:
一番ふつうの訳し方は別の回答者がいったようなものです。ただし彼は伽話といっていますが、99%以上のnative speakerは「おとぎ話」といいます。
私の回答はその変形です。
ところでおとぎ話というときの「とぎ」というのは、眠りを誘う意味で「寝物語」という言葉もあります。アラビアンナイトの「千夜一夜」はその代表です。
童話というのも普通の訳し方です。でもその大部分は昔話です。
いまではファンタシーストーリーなどというジャンルもありますので最初の答えはそれに近いものです。私はfairyというのは夢の存在なので、この訳も好きです。
