el título de diplomado


Explanation:
I don't know about other countries, but in Spain they use diplomatura for a three year degree and licenciatura for a 5 year degree.
See example:
Los alumnos que superen los estudios universitarios, obtendrán el título de DIPLOMADO EN EMPRESAS Y ACTIVIDADES TURISTICAS, y tiene carácter oficial en todo el territorio nacional y habilitará para el ejercicio profesional de acuerdo con la normativa vigente.

A nivel de universidad en USA hay dos tipos de carreras y en consecuencia dos tipos de grados: el técnico(Associates degree in ...) y el profesional: (Bachelor degree in ...) Creo que esto te puede ayudar...
