I have no idea what it is.

Total Hip Prosthesis

"Femoral Stem Component: The femoral stem prosthesis has a C-Taper neck geometry to facilitate the intraoperative assembly of a cobalt chromium XXX C-Taper Head or an XXX Zirconia C-Taper Femoral Bearing Head*. Use of an impactor recess in the proximal lateral stem, or use of the XXX Inserter/Extractor Instrument facilitates stem insertion and reduces the potential for taper or head damage. Proximal spacers and mid-shaft restrictors are available for use with XXX Ported Stem."

"The mid-shaft restrictor should be assembled to a Ported Stem with manual pressure only. Do not use any mechanical force (ie. hammer or pliers) to tighten or force the restrictor onto the stem."
