Das Hauptfunktionselement der XXX ist ein sehr robustes, druckstabiles Dichtlippenprofil. Es dichtet den Ölraum nach außen hin zuverlässig ab. Der metallische Gegenlaufring ist gleich in die XXX integriert. Durch die drallfreie Bearbeitung bietet die Gegenlauffläche optimale Bedingungen für eine reibungsarme Langzeitabdichtung. Der Gegenlaufring verfügt in der Standardausführung auf der Außenseite zur Welle hin über eine Elastomerschicht, die sowohl die statische Dichtheit an dieser Stelle garantiert, wie auch den Haftsitz auf der Welle sicherstellt.
