Single/double tunnel doesn't sound right to me and doesn't get many hits on British/US sites. Any suggestions? Thanks.

use \'duct\' is they are natural tunnels. \'bore\' implies someone has made them

I like the "single/double bore" for an underground tunnel. "Single/double duct" doesn't seem to get many hits for a "cut and cover" (i.e. naturali") tunnel. Any more ideas!?

single/double liner

Explanation:
I know the term tunnel liner certainly exists.
A canna cilindro on an engine is a cylinder liner.
