credo che privativa in questo senso significhi il diritto spettante all'autore di un'invenzione di attuarla e trarne frutto... Mi ricordo di aver visto qualcosa in questo proposito sul dizionario commerciale di Fernando Picchi. Io in questo caso userei patent - fa anche senso...

disagree  TechLawDC: Here "privativa" is more general than patent rights. It may refer to contractual license rights, for example. Thus Micheli's answer, "exclusive rights", is better.
