シ Explanation: To be honest, without context arriving accurate and conscientious answer is not easy. I have to emphasize this because of the fact that you are presenting it in "adjective" form which is not a stand alone word. If it is "a woody area", "woody property" or "woody texture" then translation could be vastly easier. Nevertheless in the spirit of fellow language professional, it is a good thing to render som help. So here is a couple of answers. The first is "a lot of woods", the second "like wood". I wish you get some hint in your own language out of these. |

Woody ウディー or ワゥディー Explanation: I think 'ウディー' is the closest, but its becomes 'Uddi-'. 'Woody' is difficult to render in Japanese because the only W sounds are Wa and Wo...No Wu. I made up 'ワゥディー' which uses makes an odd combination of Wa + U to get something close to 'Wuddi-' My older brother's a rock star in LA named Wood/Woody, and I've had to struggle explaining his name to several Japanese friends in the past.
