One of the main components of a transmission line are the supports （tangent towers and tension towers） and it is clear that our knowledge of their characteristic strength （Rc） and associated standard deviations （σ） is not sufficiently well known to enable the designer to make economies whilst maintaining the required level of risk-of-failure.

I know "tension tower" is 耐張鉄塔, but don't know "tangent tower". Please tell me.
