イヒチオールプランクトン Explanation: If you are able to read Japanese Katakana, you are all set. The first part is a lot to do with fish. Good luck. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2004-05-10 00:08:02 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- You know what is plankton, I assume. |

ichthyoplankton イクチオプランクトン Explanation: I would pronounce it as "イクチオプランクトン", since Ichthyosaurus, a fairly popular word, is expressed as "イクチオサウルス" in Japanese. According to the following site ichthyoplankton means eggs and larvae of fish. In Kanji it would be 魚卵および稚仔魚. Reference: http://www.fishbase.org/Glossary/Glossary.cfm?TermEnglish=ic... |
