For the record, in addition to being a godmother, I am a mob mom,
which loosely translates to a mother of boys. Of course, now mine have all
grown into men, so my title reverted back M.O.M., or mother
of men, and they have given me the grandest mother title of
G-Mama (grandmother). Being a mother has been the most
rewarding, empowering, and challenging role of my life. There
is nothing I’ve loved being more, and outside of marriage quite
possibly nothing I have made more mistakes in. My hope for
this chapter is that you will discover the answers I had to make
up along the way.
