The "time-keeping devices" that where taken on board of travelling ships kept showing the exact time at a fixed location on the ground - and indirectly allowed to calculate the geographical position of the ship when on high seas. That kind of use for a "time-keeping device" is irrelevant for this ST. In this ST the "time-keeping device" is there only to show the "official exact time" for the purpose of this Lucky Draw, nothing more. Possibly used to avoid any confusion that could be created if players are in many different time-zones.
