agree  Roger Sjölander: Yes, although "polyamorin" seems to be a strange Swedish noun. Polyamorik would be better, but must people in the know just use the adjective, polyamorös, presumable for want of a good-sounding noun.

disagree  Roger Sjölander: Ah. Cf. carbon, then, which has certain properties, and polycarbon, which has other, wildly different properties. Both words are quite useful, which I'm sure you'll agree, and the distinction is made through the first part, poly-.

  -> Really? Amour, the second part of the supposed word, is, according to Collins, American Heritage, Webster, etc, means: a love affair, esp. a secret or illicit one.
