Asker: Ciao Grazie - Ma il problema è sempre lo stesso! Se è una lunghezza è già una lunghezza. per cui tanto vale scrivere "lunghezza attiva", no? O mi sfugge qualcosa?

Asker: Si grazie ma è lo stesso link che ho messo sulla domanda

Asker: SI grazie questo va bene, ma è un'altro discorso perché dice "lunghezza della lunghezza attiva più la corsa" per cui sarebbe "lunghezza (totale) = lunghezza attiva + corsa". Nel mio caso, e negli altri riferimenti postati, manca il secondo fattore di addizione. Ho visto in giro è sembra che questa frase sia una formula di rito che deve essere localizzata in italiano. Grazie ugualmente per la pazienza e impegno.

Secondo me “length of the active length” sta per “length of the active part” per cui è sufficiente “lunghezza della porzione attiva”
