If conversion to Ararabic letters will not issue any legible term - I would consider 'cat walking' as one probable cause, indeed.

Try reposting German to English. Spoken quickly the first part does make some kind of sense as a coded string of abuse with a liberal sprinkling of the 'F' word - 'you effin little so-and-so'....

Our local Moroccan-Arab computer repairwoman & stationer claims it isn't an Arabic transcription, whereas our Iraqi-Arab neighbour says it 'must be French'. If it's any consolation, I - from my expletive-filled childhood and Moroccan-born uncle in Paris - might well have recognised any Arabic swear words: query German- ekel fekel: ... disgusting turd....

I don't think that makes any difference, and I'd be extremely surprised if this is anything other than random letters. It's a small number of characters, and they're grouped closely together on the keyboard.

In that case, the employee probably couldn't be bothered to answer the question, or it wasn't applicable, so they just typed in garbage. This is very common in my experience. It's often "asdf".

I share your mystification; in particular, we can see certain recurring patterns of letters, which seems unlikely if these were truly just random characters. I'm wondering if they are maybe simply the Roman letters that should be associated with characters in an Arabic font? Why don't you use a sandbox to select all the text and then apply an Arabic font to it, and see what that gives — you might be able to Google bits of it to see if any actual words emerge. Do bear in mind, though, that it may or may not already be R>L — so you might need to try it either way round! Perhaps once you have it in Arabic characters, you could ask one of our Arabic-speaking colleagues for advice?

It's just a load of junk characters, not a language. You haven't given the surrounding text, but I doubt whether that would provide any enlightenment. This is the kind of thing I get when the cat steps on my keyboard.
