Example sentence(s):

PHD research fellowship / PHD senior research associate Explanation: It seems "investigador integrado" is being used in more than one sense. For instance, according to FCT rules, it defines a position (with the corresponding degree of autonomy and salary) in a given D&I project. As a grant-giving institution, FCT has rules related to the attribution of grants. (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/unidades/faq.phtml.pt or https://www.fct.pt/faq/pr.phtml.pt?idFaq=C0E36499-1935-466C-... In another sense, it refers to a permanent in-house position as a researcher of a member of faculty at a university, as opposed to a researcher being hired temporarily for a specific project. For example, in the webstie of Universidade de Coimbra: https://www.uc.pt/fluc/religionAJE/equipa_investigacao There might not be an exact equivalent for this term since it is dependent on university culture which is different from country to country. In the context of CV building and HR, the term will be read by potential employers who may not know the nuances of the term as used by FCT, for instance. It might be more adequate to highlight this experience as a "PHD research fellowship" or "PHD senior research associate". This is a suggestion. Asking the client for more details is important.
