The answer chosen does not seem to me to be very idiomatic. But of course I have read 10s of millions of words of text on this topic, in English. Thus, my brain might be too full of information, causing me to be confused.

Yes, it works. But I would not use anything more, creation or raising. It is clear,
everything is mentioned in the context as follows:
To introduce the measures to minimize the risk including:
3) *specific awareness* (this is one of the measures) among research physicians and health-care professionals regarding the medication used for study.
But it is up to you, you can add raising if you want to. I think shorter is better.

The context is about the measures taken to minimize the risk:
So,
one of the measures is:
(3) специальное информирование-информировать врачей-исследователей или медицинских работников о риске
Это один из мер по минимизации риска.
Those research physicians and health-care professionals must have specific awareness about this risk.
We may say "specific risk information to share..." And it is correct. But as one of the measures I would use "awareness" and would not repeat the risk.
Кроме этого, информирование---специальное, а не информация?
