Testo teatrale canadese (per la messa in scena e non per la pubblicazione). Dialogo tra due amiche. Una delle due ha appena deciso di trasferiris in una nuova casa e dare un nuovo senso alla sua vita.

A: So, you’re going to paint the kitchen?
B: Definitely.
A: And are you going to put beautiful rugs on hardwood floors?
B: Is that important?
A: There’s got to be something that’s important. Otherwise, what’s the point?

La mia proposta:

A: Allora, ridipingerai la cucina?
B: Assolutamente.
A: E metterai tappeti bellissimi sul pavimento di legno massiccio?
B: È importante?
A: Ci deve essere qualcosa di importante. Altrimenti, che motivo c’è?
