I beg to differ: 'repeated exposure' is perfectly fine here — and the meaning of 'repeat exposure' would actually be subtly different. As for the second part of the phrase, that too is fine: the idea is, if you taste something once, it may be unfamiliar, and you may not be sure if you like it or not; the more often you taste it, the more familiar it becomes, and you may start to decide if you like it or not. These concepts are particularly important for weaning babies, where it is necessary to get them into good dietary habits as early as possible, and just because a child doesn"t like a food on one occasion doesn't mean they might not grow to like it later... |
