Ciao, sto traducendo un testo dove una ragazza sta uscendo con un ragazzo che non le piace e che ha un odore pungente che le dà fastidio. Il testo dice così:

His hot breath against my ear makes me cringe; his musky scent fills my nostrils, making them sting.

Mi viene in mente il termine "pungente", ma in genere è riferito proprio all'odore e non al movimento delle narici. Potreste aiutarmi? Grazie!
