English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / Contract
English term or phrase: delivery of the deed
Buenas: la frase aparece en un punto de un contrato de compraventa, punto que hace referencia a la duración del mismo: SURVIVAL OF CONTRACT: All terms (...) not performed at the time of delivery of the deed shall survive such delivery.
Dado que en el ámbito jurídico "delivery" no es "entrega", ¿qué significaría "delivery of the deed"? ¿"Formalización de la escritura pública", quizás?

acto de entrega de la escritura
Explanation:
Dleivery is the hand-over the deed to the other side.

Otorgamiento is incorrect as that is covered by the signature (execution) stage of a deed being signed vs. sealed (sellada) and *delivered*, for instance on conveyancing completion where the keys to a property are also often handed over.

Formalización is the 'engrossment' (drawing-up) of the instrument or 'finalis/zation' (the final preparation and not the signing or 'execution', unbeknownst to the Queen of England albeit advised by QCs, but who had queried why 'finalised contracts' > agreements already drawn up for final approval < had not been signed).

Formalizar por escrito: set forth in writing; reduce to writing (West).
