Thank you both! I had 'securities' at first, but went with 'warranties' in the end.

(Dom. Rep.) Las Garantías
collateral securities incl. suretyship

Explanation:
As far as I can see from a KudoZ term search. the late Mike G. is the only one to hit on the suretyship rendering, albeit in an insurance context where, to complicate matters, Garantías can double as insurance coverage.

Garantía 1. guarantee 2. security interest 3. bond 4. fianza: warranty (West),

I stand corrected, but cannot see - from a search of the term in the plural in the Civil Code of the Dominican Republic - a warranty, collateral warranty > a.k.a. stipulation in favo(u)r of a third party or Scots law-type land warrandice > covenant in a deed. (see also: Art. 1977.-Aquel en cuyo provecho se ha constituido la renta vitalicia, mediante un precio, puede pedir la restitución del contrato si no le da el que la *constituyó las garantías estipuladas* (put up the collateral) para su ejecución.

3. bond /synonym: fianza 4. warranty (West)

Example sentence(s):
  • Dom. Rep. Civ.
