Swedish term or phrase: skalbaggsås
In a document about "green infrastructure" from Naturvårdsverket, they are talking about these "beetle ridges" as a means to permit predatory insects to thrive and contribute to protecting a crop. It is done through plowing in such a way that a low "ridge" is left in the middle of the field, which then is sown with plants that the beneficial insects like, while the rest of the field is sown with the crop species.

(No, it's not a culinary recipe of the swedish chef!)
