Tagalog term or phrase: Mayroon akong itatanong sayo!
Hi
"Mayroon akong itatanong sayo!" was once suggested to me as a translation for "What a thing to ask!" but I don't understand how the structure can support that translation.
How would you translate it, please? Apologies that I have no further context, I just asked for a translation of the indignant response to a question "What a thing to ask!" and was given "Mayroon akong itatanong sayo!"
The answer i was given to my relevant question on this site (Anong klaseng tanong iyan!) seems much closer. But I should be most interested to know the exact meaning of "Mayroon akong itatanong sayo!" please.
Best Wishes
Simon

What a thing to ask!
Ano ba namang tanong yan!

Explanation:
With regard to the translation of "What a thing to ask!", the appropriate translation for it would be "Ano ba namang tanong yan!"
The meaning of "Mayroon akong itatanong sayo!" is "I have a question for you!". The exclamation point is questionable for me because a question mark, I think would be more appropriate.
