I thought this might have been a reference to authorities in charge of PAYE as the term is so rare (see my explanation)
Everyone however has noted that on Google, you get this opposition between salariaux et patronaux.
But if you look at these extremely rare hits, they nearly all seem to refer back to (club) casino and when you click on them, you get a page/document where the term does not even figure. Others have noted that it is the CE (comité d'entreprise) that negotiates some local conditions and I know that at national level, they are negotiated by the trade unions represented in their sector (les conventions et les accords de branche)

Finally, the document we have does not even make reference to "organes patronaux".

So despite Lara's very useful reference, I don't think there are enough references to decide the issue beyond all reasonable doubt that this is a reference to "employee bodies" which is normally les délégués du personnel, les délégués syndicaux, le CE, etc.

Which FR spkg country is this from? Salary negotiating takes widely different forms if you go from Canada to Belgium to the Central African Republic, to namely only 3 jurisdictions.

Look back at your own post: "IOW "organes salariaux" = qui représentent les salariés". Splitting hairs is not good, I agree, nor is muddling things up. Translating accurately is.<p>Also, someone who knows "at least some basics of how French society and economy work" will refrain from using les patrons in that sense and context. That went out of fashion a long time ago, as native speakers will tell you. You must have meant les employeurs (vs. your salariés) here. Again, style and precision matter.<p> By the way, the post that you say has vanished is in fact the answer that I posted below instead. As you well know.

a "wage-negotiating body" taken at face value / nothing else being specified could ALSO be the negotiating team acting on behalf of "les patrons"?

They (les patrons) are also "negotiating wages" that they are going to pay? And the other side is ALSO "negotiating wages" that they are going to get.

IOW "organes salariaux" = qui représentent les salariés (syndicats de travailleurs salariés, différents comités d'entreprise etc ..)

Hello

There are very few hits on Google and I wonder if this is because France has only just gone over to a generalized PAYE scheme. So French people might be looking for new terms to describe this system and its components and this could be one such attempt.
If so, the writer is probably thinking of the government bodies that he/she now has to deal with due to PAYE.
But we can't know unfortunately if this idea is right or wrong.
