Bonjour à tous,

Based on the response message, the POS knows whether the payment request was successful, or if a second payment should be attempted with a different FOP.
In this semi-integrated model, the POS and the PC it resides on are thought to be PA-DSS out-of-scope, due to the fact that no sensitive card data is ever exposed to the POS.
Je ne suis pas certain de bien comprendre "scope" dans ce contexte.

Although most fully-integrated EMV solutions provide the ability to encrypt the data at time of capture before sending it to the POS, the POS and the PC running it are PA-DSS in-scope.
On voit bien dans ces deux phrases la différence entre un modèle de paiement semi-intégré et une solution entièrement intégrée.
POS = Point of Sale
FOP = Form of Payment
