This particular client is particularly slack about some things, for example "things that don't need to be translated" - I've just corrected about a dozen errors in the Excel template they sent me that were already supposed to be in English.

Not so much a question of "need to know", but I do like to know what acronyms and abbreviations I'm presented with mean. Sometimes they can be translated (OTAN -> NATO) and sometimes not, but I still like to know what they mean. I also think that any association worth its salt should tell you what its acronym stands for on its homepage. In this particular case, I didn't need to know, but curiosity got the better of me.

It also stands for Comité Aragonés de Agricultura Ecológica.
I think the reason why its meaning is so hard to find may be deliberate - it's an international organisation downplaying its regional roots, like BA or BBC.
