(US) The State Counsel's Office (UK: Queen's Proctor) Treasury Solicitor Off. joined in as a party Explanation: Again the Queen's or King's Proctor -now the Solicitor-General in E&W, can - if any 'monkey business' is suspected - step in and stop a decree nisi being made absolute. Nowt to do with public prosecution but the latter is subsumed thereunder: 'Queen's Proctor (and even His/Her Majesty's Procurator General), when the sitting English monarch is a woman. The office of the Queen's Proctor is now merged within the office of the Treasury Solicitor of the United Kingdom which includes the Director of Public Prosecutions.'
