Marketing - Business/Commerce (general)
English term or phrase: to become a respected voice in the industry
Keli, a results-driven marketer, leads all aspects of marketing at XXX. She joins XXX from YYY, where she was responsible for global customer engagement strategies, field marketing teams and programs, annual customer conferences, ensuring the needs of the customer were represented in product releases and roadmaps, and the collaborative marketing partnership with Microsoft. She was responsible for launching the customer community program that grew membership to tens of thousands of media professionals ***to become a respected voice in the industry***.

Ist euch klar, wer genau hier die „anerkannte Stimme“ in der Branche wird:
- Keli?
- Das Unternehmen?
- Das Unternehmen und seine „Community“?

Danke an alle!

Explanation:
As an ENS, I am certain this refers to the "results-driven marketeer, Keli". It's an easy mistake for non-ENS's to make, I know, but that's what it means.

disagree  Steffen Walter: Your suggestion seems to be ruled out by "... the customer community program that grew ... to become ..." ("that grew" can hardly refer to Keli in my view)./"Voice" appears to refer to the community, not the program./Re. "become": not necessarily.

-> I'm sorry, but that's not how this (ENS) reader understands it. Also, the use of "voice" to describe a program is questionable in the extreme. "Force", yes, I'd agree with you, but voice???//And: "to become" should have been "which has become". Oder?
