Qui immagino si tratti di un sw per sistemi LED, e nel link qui sotto (sezione "2D or 3D") parlano della possibilità di avere più livelli Z quando si lavora in modalità 3D. Non ho alcuna esperienza di sistemi per il controllo dell'illuminazione LED, ma in campo grafica "Layer" è tradotto "Livello" in numerosi sw di grafica.
