Björn, he's talking about his uncle who is coming from the USA. He has a plan to kill his uncle in order to inherit his fortune, because he and his family are in a very bad financial situation. I agree with you that he's talking about people who are weak and lazy, and I guess that he's talking specifically about his uncle George. I have to translate all the lines into Portuguese because I live in Brazil and I'd like to watch this film with friends. It's a good British comedy, but the've never released this film subtitled. That's why I'll try to understand all the lines in order to create the subtitles in Portuguese. Thanks a lot for your help!

We used to call them wussies...I believe Tony is much better at explaining things like this, but roughly speaking, he seems to be talking about people who are not "real men" (but instead weak and lazy) because all they can do is watch soap operas.

Where in the world are you getting "like" from?

At the beginning, he says, "A pack of lackadaisical milksops..." There is no "like."

Also, David and Tony are right; it's "pap."

I'd bet the word is television "pap" — it is a popular word that has been used to describe the insipid, vaid, pre-digest mush that we are served up on TV — "xhewing gum for the eyes", as one famous character put it.

"Like a lackadaisical milksops comes a being spoon-fed with all this television pack".
This makes sense, because he's talking about his uncle who is coming from the USA and is very rich. All the plot of this comedy is to try to kill his uncle in order to inherit his uncle's money.
