(wässrige) Peroxidlösung Explanation: wird zur Desinfektion verwendet. Peroxid hat zudem auch eine Bleichwirkung, von daher. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 Min. (2019-08-04 08:45:56 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Sorry - die 2 für Antwortsicherheit ist zu niedrig ausgefallen (Fehler von mir beim Tippen). Ich bin mir da schon ziemlich sicher. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 Min. (2019-08-04 08:47:38 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Kann übrigens auch Hypochlorit sein. Wäre zu klären. |

Since pure chlorine is a toxic corrosive gas, these products usually contain hypochlorite which releases chlorine when needed. "Bleaching powder" usually means a formulation containing calcium hypochlorite. Oxidizing bleaching agents that do not contain chlorine are usually based on peroxides such as hydrogen peroxide, sodium percarbonate, and sodium perborate. These bleaches are called 'non-chlorine bleach,' 'oxygen bleach' or 'color-safe bleach.'[2] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bleach Sodium hypochlorite is a chemical compoundwith the formula NaOCl or NaClO, comprising a sodium cation (Na+) and a hypochloriteanion (OCl− or ClO−). It may also be viewed as the sodium salt of hypochlorous acid. The anhydrous compound is unstable and may decompose explosively.[3][4] It can be crystallized as a pentahydrate NaOCl·5H2O, a pale greenish-yellow solid which is not explosive and is stable if kept refrigerated.[ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_hypochlorite Natriumhypochlorit (redirected from Bleichlauge) Natriumhypochlorit (NaClO) ist das Natriumsalz der Hypochlorigen Säure (HClO, veraltet auch „Unterchlorige Säure“). Im Handel wird jedoch häufig kein Unterschied gemacht. https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natriumhypochlorit -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day 49 mins (2019-08-05 09:22:05 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Nachfolgende englischsprachige Referenzen unterstützen die Interpretation von "bleach water" = "Bleichlauge (Natriumhypochlorit)" There is no free-standing, or elemental, chlorine in bleach. Bleach is manufactured from salt and water to produce sodium hypochlorite, the active ingredient in bleach. Bleach is simply a water solution of this compound. https://waterandhealth.org/disinfect/myths-chlorine-bleach/ Sodium hypochlorite poisoning Sodium hypochlorite is a chemical commonly found in bleach, water purifiers, and cleaning products. Swallowing sodium hypochlorite can lead to poisoning. Breathing sodium hypochlorite fumes may also cause poisoning, especially if the product is mixed with ammonia. This article is for information only. DO NOT use it to treat or manage an actual poison exposure. If you or someone you are with has an exposure, call your local emergency number (such as 911), or your local poison center can be reached directly by calling the national toll-free Poison Help hotline (1-800-222-1222) from anywhere in the United States. https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/002488.htm Calcium hypochlorite will store for a long period of time and remain effective as a chemical drinking water treatment. So get rid of the household bleach and buy a can of Calcium hypochlorite for your disaster emergency water disinfection needs. It lasts far longer and treats far more water than the traditional chlorine bleach water disinfection treatment. http://survivaltopics.com/better-than-bleach-use-calcium-hyp... |

Reference: Bleach water Reference information: In English "bleach water" is by no means a common expression. One might ask whether it has arisen as a translation from some other language. Another possibility is that it is a form of 'Simple English'. https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Simple_English_W... I noted that a poster apparently describing disinfection procedures relevant to Ebola epidemics, which was released by the CDC (in the USA), used simple terminology such as "pee-pee" along with "chlorine water". Presumably that language was chosen deliberately following assessment of their target 'audience'. https://www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/pdf/2.6-percent-chlorine-bleac... One also notes that the GelMax products are claimed to have a special certification for use in Ebola epidemics according to WHO recommendations that relates to the bleach absorption. "SPECIAL EBOLA Bleach approved Certified Compatibility : Gelmax/Bleach (absorbtion: 70g/g at 0.5% of chlorine)" [Note: "absorbtion" is a typo. in the original.] http://unpub.wpe.au.syrahost.com/var/m_e/ef/efc/13587/306474... "The current Ebola epidemic has led Health Services throughout the world to issue numerous recommendations [...]." "The best solution to secure and dispose of disinfectant bleach residue is by absorbing and turning it into a gel. The only products that should be used are super absorbent products that have been successfully tested with bleach. Cleanis’ Gelmax® Super-Absorbent technology has been presented to the United Nations purchasing department & Medical team on Aug 19th 2014 and successfully passed a complete set of tests with bleach at different concentration levels recommended by the WHO." "Literature available: - Absorption tests: Anioxyde 1000 – DD1 NaCl 0.9% / 2% / 2.6% / Na OH (= soda 1N) / NaCl Tap water / NaCl / bleach 0.1% / 0.5% / 2% Gelmax® / Bleach compatibility certificate" "Tested with bleach (70g/g at 0.5% active chlorine)" http://margemed.com.tr/site/dosyalar/EBOLA2.pdf -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 days (2019-08-10 05:30:42 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- By the way, in case I wasn't being clear... I am proposing that "bleach water" may be a 'simple' formulation intended to refer to bleach that has been (somewhat) diluted with water. |
