I'm not sure I understand the whole phrase in the context:

Explanation:
Delivery slots are common in all sorts of industries now to avoid queues of lorries waiting to unload. A delivery slot is a brief interval in which the delivery has to be made e.g. 11.00 - 11.15 am. For reference see Collins Robert "plage". page 710 in my edition.

neutral  Tony M: That's not entirely the case here, really... it doesn't mention any specific 'créneau', but rather, in effect, opening times and days — I think this 'plage' is less restrictive than a 'narrow slot' (and also probably not individual).
