Rx = shock Explanation: Advanced ICD Troubleshooting The first VF shock (VF Rx 1) results in widening of the electrogram without change in the cycle length of 330 ms. On the second line, the fifth VF shock (VF Rx 5) induces VT with cycle length 280 ms, despite appropriate synchronization to the nadir of the R wave. The sixth VF shock (VF Rx 6) accelerates the VT to cycle length 210 ms. VF is detected during this delayed termination ("VF Defib Rx 1" in middle of middle panel), but shock is aborted (Aborted) in middle of bottom panel. https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/520588_2 |

Reference: Acromed Reference information: I don't know if you know this link which was given to me here in Proz and it has been very helpful According to Acromed, one of the possible meanings of Rx is risk. I think it does perhaps fit the context here. It is one of the best resources for Italian medical abbreviations. You can download a PDF with the abbreviations and store it on your PC. http://acromed.blogspot.it/ |
