Italian term or phrase: inquadramento clinico
I still have trouble with this word 'inquadramento' after years of trying to understand it.

This is from the admitting history of a patient with pneumonia (the history isn't relevant in this case). We have two instances of this little phrase:

Inquadramento Clinico - Anamnesi Generale: (followed by the history)

Inquadramento Clinico - Esame Obiettivo: (followed by the physical exam findings)

What do they mean by this / how should I translate it?

agree  Stuart and Aida Nelson: I agree this is what is normally used in medical reports, I have seen the equivalent in German quite often as a title.

Reference: Inquadramento in Campo Medico - Clinical Assessment and Classification

Reference information:
L’inquadramento diagnostico: aspetti clinici.
