Hi, the sentence is this: "Une optimisation majeure qui a fait la différence de notre offre a été d'augmenter la profondeur du tunnel. Cela a permis de sécuriser le profil de risque de notre offre en assurant suffisamment de couverture au démarrage et de garder la machine bien confinée."

The context is a tunnel which will be excavated using a variable density TBM. I gather that a deeper tunnel will make the TBM less exposed and so reduce the risk, is that correct?
