directorates Explanation: En la estructura organizativa de algunos gobiernos (incluido el de Perú, según creo), una “dirección de línea” es una instancia adscrita a (depende jerárquicamente de) una dirección general. La explicación es parecida a lo que dice Georgina: las direcciones generales elaboran y están a cargo de los lineamientos generales del área de su competencia, y las direcciones de línea los ejecutan. Yo lo traduzco simplemente como “Directorate”- ------- The Directorate of Competitive Funds (DCF), responsible for the Rural Electrification project management, was completely integrated into the regular operations of the MEM in 2007.
