Bus/Financial - Real Estate / construction company
French term or phrase: prend le portage du projet
La société prend le portage du projet en tant qu’entreprise totale jusqu’à la livraison. I'm not sure about 'portage' here. Is it just the 'scope' of the project? Sometimes the word seems to mean 'backing/support' but I don't think that fits here. I have the following:
The company manages the entire project as general contractor right up to delivery.
Thanks for your help.

(the Co.= is) to take on the project co-ordination as lead contractor
Explanation:
The Company 'to take on' vs. over the project is engineering contract and/or works insurance policy - and without a main verb - is telegrammatic shorthand that is lost, even on some legal cllients who ought to know better.

If this is a contract, I would not use some vague "general contractor" term, because this is very specific, and it specifies the form of employment of the contract.

It's a very specific set up and I'm not sure if we have it in the UK. I did see the translation here "umbrella company" and it might be the closest thing we have but I'm not sure about that either.
