French term or phrase: cascade cryptographique
Hello all,
This comes from a proposal of assistance with staff elections using an electronic voting system. IT is not my strong point, would cascade cryptographique be a cascade cipher perhaps?
Thanks for any help.

multiple encryption
Explanation:
I'd be inclined to use this expression, or "cascade ciphering" if you like:

"Multiple encryption is the process of encrypting an already encrypted message one or more times, either using the same or a different algorithm. It is also known as cascade encryption, cascade ciphering, multiple encryption, and superencipherment."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_encryption

"Cascade cipher" is also a possibility, but as I understand it, it tends to refer to multiple encryption using the same encryption scheme or key each time, whereas "multiple encryption", though it can mean this, tends to imply using different keys. I think this is probably the case with "cascade cryptographique", but it's difficult to be confirm what it means because this precise expression doesn't seem to occur on the Internet. Anyway, I think you'll be fine with "multiple encryption".
