English term or phrase: office
Hi
What do you call an office in the sense of "private room in workplace used by a usually senior member of the organisation", please?
The word I heard sounded like the place name "Hong Kong".
As for the context, someone was asking where a certain Somchai's office was. "Hong kong Kun Somchai yoo tii nai?" I think.
I suppose the 'hong' part might have been ห้อง, since an office is a kind of room.
Many thanks
Simon

ห้อง

Explanation:
According to your explanation and in this context \"Hong khong Kun Somchai yoo tii nai?\" = "ห้องของคุณสมชายอยู่ที่ไหน", "khong" (ของ) being the possessive adjective.

It does sound like "Hong Kong" lol
