Come tradurreste "is designated to transmit..."?

"CAN is a multi master architecture which means that each entity connected to the bus (also referred to as a node) is able to send and receive messages, but not at the same time. This is achieved by providing each message with an identifier which also defines the priority of the corresponding message. In order to avoid collisions of messages sent at the same time by different nodes, an arbitration phase precedes each phase during which "payload" data is sent. During the arbitration phase the node with a message of the highest priority is designated to transmit its message whereas all the other nodes enter a listening mode. One aspect limiting the data rate originates from the arbitration phase."

altrimenti devi girare la frase dicendo che "il nodo il cui messaggio ha la priorità massima trasmette il proprio messaggio mentre gli altri entrano in modalità di ascolto" (per quest'ultimo opterei per ricezione)

incaricato (a mio avviso) rende esplicito che è durante la "arbitration phase" che a quello specifico nodo viene assegnato il compito di essere proprio lui a trasmettere
