Por lo que veo, quick write se trata de escribir rápidamente lo que viene a la mente (concimiento que ya se tiene) sin el pulido ni el desarrollo de un texto escrito.
Lo entiendo como si fuese una lista o esquema.

Cuando uno empieza a escribir un ensayo, por ejemplo se puntean las ideas y después de desarrolla. Creo que es a eso que se refiere este título.
