Under normal operating conditions, the booms must be in tramming position (boom in center) while tramming.

Remove and securely store the wheel chocks and articulation lock in their designated storage areas when the machine is ready to tram.
Therefore, if the machine must be turned on a grade, reduce tram speed to as slow as feasibly possible; and minimize the articulation angle, feed height, and boom height to greatest extent possible.

In the event that the booms and feeds must be repositioned, the booms and feeds must be returned to tram position as soon as possible in order to maintain stability.

Tramming Position
The safe position for tramming is with the booms and feeds lowered and centered.
