French term or phrase: mission [...] acceptée par la simple réception
Full sentence: "La mission du tiers convenu sera acceptée par la simple réception des fonds et exécutée par la remise de ces fonds à son bénéficiaire."

I'm a bit stumped by this because logically a "mere receipt" cannot "accept" a "mission/task/duty". I've so far interpreted "par" as "comme", i.e. "as", which would make more sense in the context, but I'm not sure that strays too far from the original.

(simple/mere) acceptance of ... shall constitute acceptance of the mandate/assignment
Explanation:
I think this needs turning around to read well in English. "Simple" doesn't seem to add anything to the meaning. However, it could be translated as "simple" or "mere".

Thanks to Ph_B for pointing out the repetition. I had meant to write "Simple receipt", not "Simple acceptance"!

So: (simple/mere) receipt of ... shall constitute acceptance of the mandate/assignment

agree  AllegroTrans: I also like Phil's suggested wording

-> Thanks AT. I think Phil is wrong to include the transfer of funds as part of what constitutes acceptance of the mandate. I hadn't seen the Discussion before posting, but Bijan Khezri came closest IMO.

agree  Ph_B (X): (really for own info): acceptance x 2? What about: "Simply receiving... shall constitute acceptance? End of nitpicking.

agree  Daryo: or "simply receiving / accepting the monies/the funds will constitute ..."? it's the conduct / the act that makes it a case of "accepting the contract by conduct" // https://www.allaboutlaw.co.uk/stage/study-help/contract-law-...
