4 +1 | secondary legislation (UK) / regulatory law (US) |

secondary legislation (UK) / regulatory law (US) Explanation: It's odd to see both "reglamentaria" and "de desarrollo" together like this, as I would normally translate both "ley reglamentaria" and "ley de desarrollo" as "implementing legislation," "secondary legislation," or "regulatory law" (see links below). https://www.proz.com/kudoz/spanish-to-english/law-contracts/... However, I believe that the wording of some Spanish "decretos" uses "reglamento de desarrollo" to describe how they relate to the primary legislation (acts of parliament). Here's an example of that usage: Real Decreto 1720/2007, de 21 de diciembre, por el que se aprueba el Reglamento de desarrollo de la Ley Orgánica 15/1999, de 13 de diciembre, de protección de datos de carácter personal. https://ateneu.eu/es/reglamento-desarrollo-rdlopd-c161 Regulatory law refers to law promulgated by an executive branch agency under a delegation from a legislature. Discussed at Regulation (law) and Primary and secondary legislation. Regulatory law contrasts to statutory law promulgated by the legislative branch, and common law or case law promulgated by the judicial branch. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regulatory_law In the United Kingdom, secondary legislation (also referred to as delegated legislation or subordinate legislation) is law made by an executive authority under powers delegated from by an enactment of primary legislation... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primary_and_secondary_legislat... |
